Moussaka with potatoes

Ingredients

  • 700 g potatoes
  • 700 g ground meat
  • 1 onion
  • oil
  • a pinch of salt
For white (Béchamel) sauce:
  • 100 ml milk
  • 80 g flour
  • 80 g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • salt
  • pepper
  • pinch of nutmeg

Preparation

1 Cook the potatoes until half done and strain.
2 Sauté the meat with onions and bell peppers over some oil.
3 Oil the glass baking dish and layer the ground meat and potatoes into it. Finish with a layer of meat. Cover with white (Béchamel) sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese to taste.
