Episode one, of the two-part special, aired on Wednesday 14th October on BBC One and saw DIY SOS and a huge team of volunteers work to transform a Manchester street into a community of houses for ex-servicemen and women.

The DIY SOS team took on a real challenge by transforming a whole street, so we were delighted to be able to help by donating some appliances for the veteran’s homes.

We supplied a number of its fully integrated WDI73120 washer dryers as well as a RIU6091AW under-counter refrigerator to the BBC show’s biggest project to date.

Our fully integrated WDI73120 washer dryers boast a 7kg wash capacity and 4kg dry capacity, as well as LED lighting and 15 programmes. Its under-counter RIU6091AW refrigerator meanwhile features a dairy shelf, crisper drawer and A+ energy rating. 

This was a fantastic project to be involved in we are hopeful it will bring some much needed attention to a great cause.
