Egg custard
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 300 ml milk
- 1 pack vanilla sugar
- pinch of nutmeg
Preparation
1 Bring the milk to the boil.
2 Thoroughly whisk the eggs with sugar. Add vanilla sugar and whisk. Add the nutmeg.
3 Slowly add the nearly boiling milk and stir.
4 Pour the cream into a larger glass bowl.
Tip: Milk can be substituted with heavy cream. For an even more intense flavour, add a vanilla pod and grated lemon zest.
