Yorkshire pudding (United Kingdom)
Ingredients
- 190 g flour
- 5 g salt
- 3 eggs
- 180 ml water
- 180 ml milk (room temperature)
- 120 ml beef roast juice or melted pork lard
Preparation
1 Combine flour and salt. Add milk and whisk into a firm batter. Whisk in the eggs, add water, and beat until foamy. Let the mixture rest for one hour.
2 Place the baking sheet in the oven and pour in the beef roast juices or melted fat.
3 When the juices or fat are warm enough, cover them with the batter.
