Tuesday, 22nd September 2009, Ljubljana Gorenje Innovators Receive the Highest National Honour

Last Thursday, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Slovenia presented the awards for innovations launched in 2008. Among the recipients of the most coveted CCIS Gold Award were also the innovators from Gorenje, who won the honours for the new generation of 600-mm cooking appliances.

Gorenje is pleased with its appearance at the IFA fair in Berlin as well as with the response of business partners from various markets, who have placed a considerable amount of purchase orders for Gorenje's home appliances.

Tuesday, 8th September 2009 Biathlon World Champion Michael Greis visits Gorenje exhibition area

Yesterday, Gorenje exhibition area at the IFA fair hosted the German biathlon star Michael Greis, winner of the 2006 winter Olympics and a perennial winner of biathlon world championships. Gorenje has proudly sponsored this athlete since 2007; in this season, the company will also support his teammate and companion, Kathrin Hitzer. Hence, her equipment, too, will feature Gorenje logo in the upcoming season's races. During his visit, Michael Greis talked to the visitors and signed autograph cards.

Gorenje upgraded the form of the past with the technology of the future, and added a touch of trendy boldness in an exciting array of new colours championed by the fashion pundits.

Friday, 4th September 2009, Berlin IFA 2009 Kicks Off

The IFA Fair, considered the business event No 1 for the consumer electronics and home appliance industry, has kicked off. Gorenje is happily returning after last year's successful appearance. This year, they are to unveil their novelties. In addition to the new Gorenje Retro Collection and the Gorenje Simplicity Line, the spotlights will be on the company's team-up with the global icon of industrial design, Karim Rashid, which has resulted in the brand new star collection "Gorenje designed by Karim Rashid" – a collection Gorenje certainly has high hopes for.

Saturday, 8th August 2009, Velenje/Berlin Gorenje at Berlin's IFA 2009 Fair

We are counting down the days to the opening of the IFA fair, one of the world's largest consumer electronics and home appliance fairs to which Gorenje is happily returning after last year's successful appearance. This year, three novelties will be premiered that pave the way to new dimensions. Direction: "Beyond White".

Thursday, 6th August 2009, Velenje/Berlin Gorenje back in Berlin this Year

Following a notable appearance at the international fair HOME APPLIANCES @ IFA 2008, Gorenje will challenge the global streams of innovative design at this Berlin-based fair again this year as it exhibits from September 4th to 9th 2009 its select novelties and accomplishments of the recent years.
