More efficient detergents and modern laundry handling programmes nowadays provide excellent washing results at lower temperatures as well. Instead of selecting a 40°C programme choose rather a 30°C washing cycle and save at least 40% of electrical energy. The less soiled garments will just be freshened up and preserved for longer time.
