A control system constantly checks the temperature inside the fridge and the freezer and, if you open the door frequently to fill up the fridge, the temperature is immediately adjusted so that food keeps the right temperature and stays fresh. The entire refrigerating cycle of the combined fridge freezer is carefully controlled. A digital control display at the top of the fridge displays the temperatures in the fridge and the freezer. It regulates the temperature in each cooling compartment to a degree of precision.

If you accidentally leave the door of the freezer compartment inside your refrigerator slightly open, it will automatically open itself even wider to make sure you notice that it was not properly closed.

Built under-counter models have a special crisp tray placed over the vegetable bin. This serves as a sliding lid that retains humidity and temperature in the vegetable bin, and also allows maximal use of the space in the fridge. It can also be used as practical tray.

Side by side, the built under-counter fridge and freezer make a perfect couple. Built-in under-counter freezers have a sound alarm, which warns you when the temperature is too high. With this couple you will have big volume, taking up only little space.

Automatic defrost >>>

Gorenje fridges are automatically defrosted at regular intervals to reduce the build-up of ice. Any water accumulated in the process drips into a tray above the compressor, where it then evaporates.

Use this function when you want to freeze large quantities of fresh food quickly, retaining most of the vitamins and other important nutrients. Gorenje’s built-in upright freezers have a fast freeze button located inside the freezer.

The door that thinks for itself >>>

The door closes automatically if you should forget. If you leave the door open at an angle of less than 20 degrees, a special hinge will automatically shut the door tightly so that the temperature is maintained.
