Selected Gorenje appliances are guaranteed for five years from the date of purchase. The guarantee is applicable in the UK and Ireland and is subject to the following provisions relating to the appliance; your statutory rights are unaffected:

1. That it is used for domestic purposes and in domestic premises only.
2. That it has been installed and used solely in accordance with the instruction book and any separate installation instructions provided by Gorenje.
3. That it has been properly connected to electricity, gas and water supplies as appropriate.
4. That it has not been subject to misuse or accident, nor been repaired or modified other than by our own service agent.
5. The guarantee period commences from the date of purchase of the appliance, and is activated by the con.rmation letter you will receive following the completion and return of this Guarantee Card together with a copy of your sales receipt.
6. This guarantee is not transferable and only relates to the original purchaser of this appliance/appliances.

This guarantee does not cover service calls to:
1. Correct the installation of the appliance.
2. Instruct the user in the correct operation of the appliance.
3. Replace house fuses or correct house wiring, plumbing, drainage or gas supply.
4. Replace light bulbs, plugs, fuses, cables, filters and attachments.
5. Replace or repair non-functional parts (i.e. parts not essential to the functioning of the appliance) or any parts which have become worn, discoloured or have been damaged by incorrect use or cleaning.
6. Remedy the effects of limescale.
7. Unblock the pump of a washing machine.
8. Rectify damage caused by flood, lightning, electrical shock or surge, storm, extreme temperature, explosion, impact,  corrosion, theft or attempted theft, strikes or industrial action.

This guarantee excludes:
1. Replacement of cosmetic and/or mechanical parts on the appliance resulting from the use and the ageing of the appliance, which do not directly impede the basic functioning of the product.
2. Increased noise of the appliance resulting from the usage of the appliance, which does not directly impede the basic function of the product, for example:
- periodic start of oven fan,
- flow and drain pump.
3. Reversal of door hinges.
4. Damage to the appliance interior or laundry resulting from zippers, metal and other objects which may block the drain, or damage to laundry or the interior of a washing machine.
5. Damages resulting from the use of improper washing machine detergents and other care agents (possible damages and discoloration appliances of door sealing and plastic components as a consequence of improper application of bleaching and colouring agents).
6. Faults resulting from overheating due to a dirty filter, condenser, or due to obstructed flow of air (blocked or covered ventilation slots, all blocked drain outlet).
7. Damages of exterior and interior components resulting from the use of improper cleansing
agents.
8. Vibrations, noise, resulting from improper leveling of the appliance.
9. Unpleasant odours within the appliance.
10. Using unsuitable cooking pans/pots resulting in overheating or discoloration, or burning of the hotplates.
11. Damage caused by switching to another gas type.
12. Improperly applied load to the appliance door or overloading of the drum.
13. Defects to removable parts, knobs, glass shelves, coated and enameled components,
rubber components, drain and supply pipes, and any accessories, for example:
a. bulbs and filters
b. baking trays
c. shelves
14. Wear to the ceramic glass hob (scratches or chips resulting from the application of
abrasive cleansers or any other improper cleaning agents, scratches resulting from the
use of improper dishes: uneven base, abrasive base, sharp parts on the base, dust, sand, and/
or any other abrasive particles on the base).

Important: Gorenje reserves the right to charge the Buyer the entire cost of a service
call and any spares, should the Buyer’s service call include any of the above defined
instances.
